A gallery for independent artists
Field Trip is a contemporary exhibition space in Paddington, Brisbane, available for artists to hire and run their own shows.
Our no-commission model means you keep 100% of your artwork sales. You have the freedom to shape your exhibition, set your own opening hours and manage sales in the way that works for you, with a professional space and practical support behind you.

Keep 100% of your sales. You can use your own EFTPOS, bank transfer or preferred sales system throughout the exhibition.

Open the exhibition when it suits you, including outside Field Trip’s usual gallery hours. We can list your hours online so visitors know when to come by.

You’ll receive a set of keys for your booking, so you can install, host your opening and access the gallery without needing us there.

Present your work in a considered gallery setting while remaining in control of the show, from installation and sales through to the way you share it with people.

What’s included with every hire
Everything you need to install, open and run your exhibition is included in the weekly hire.
Professional presentation
Hanging systems in each room, adjustable gallery lighting, display plinths, furniture and seating.
Gallery facilities
Kitchen and bathroom access, Wi-Fi and use of gallery glassware for your opening. Approximately 40 champagne flutes, 30 wine glasses, and 30 ceramic sake cups.
Independent access
A set of keys for the duration of your booking, so you can install, host your opening and access the space independently.
Run the show your way
Set your own opening hours and keep 100% of the proceeds. You take care of installation and pack-down, sitting the exhibition during your chosen opening hours, promotion, opening celebrations, sales and taking payment.

Exhibition Documentation

Professional photography of your installed exhibition, with up to 15 edited images supplied in high-resolution and web-ready formats.
Bringing more than 15 works? Get in touch and we can discuss a tailored quote.
Social Media Add-On
$450
Available alongside Exhibition Documentation. Includes priority image editing, three dedicated Instagram posts and one opening reminder story.
Artists will be tagged. Field Trip retains control over image selection, format, captions and scheduling. Reach, engagement and sales cannot be guaranteed.
Exhibition Print Package
$175
A weather-resistant B1 front-door poster and 100 printed A6 invitations, designed using the Field Trip template.
Includes design, printing, one round of minor revisions and digital copies for you to share online. To ensure we can deliver this service, please send your high-resolution files at least four weeks before your booking begins.
