New Life emerges from my fascination with cosmic origins and the possible histories of the Universe. It’s a result of my listening to physics podcasts in the morning whilst I paint the roses in my studio. The work explores the formation of matter and the birth of stars, drawing on the idea of life arising from dust — elemental particles coalescing into form and consciousness.
